Mrs. Eden Prairie takes state crown
Wendi Russo, an on-air host with ShopNBC in Eden Prairie, won the Mrs. Minnesota pageant at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul on Saturday night.
Russo will represent Minnesota at the Mrs. America pageant in September in Tucson, Ariz.
The Minnesota contest was held in conjunction with the Mrs. Iowa and Mrs. Wisconsin pageants. Contestants from the three states participated in interviews and physical fitness and evening gown events at the annual competition.
