Wendi is currently attending the Gemological Institute of America to receive her Graduate Gemology degree and holds an AJP(Accredited Jewelry Professional) Certification and a Diamond Grading Certification from GIA.
Giving back to her community through Mentoring, Wendi serves as a speaker/advocate and Mentor with Kinship of Greater Minneapolis and is a mentor for 2 students through ACES, Atheletes Committed to Educating Students.. An active member of their Speaker Board and an "Ambassador", Wendi has received the "Ambassador of the Month" Award for helping to recruit the highest number of mentors for the 150+ children waiting across Minnesota. Growing up in a single parent household, Wendi knows firsthand the importance a mentor can make in a child's self esteem and pursuit of one's dreams.
