Wendi Russo has a proven track record as an engaging hostess specializing in fashion, beauty, jewelry and gemstones seen in 70 million homes nationwide as an engaging and informative hostess of the Television Home Shopping channel Shop NBC. Wendi is also a Communications Expert, Sales and Presentation Coach and Pageant coach, helping women to acheive their goals in Busineess and in Pageantry. In light of her professional accomplishments, Wendi was recently selected to be featured in Biltmore and Cambridge Directory's Who's Who in Female Executives Nationwide and was the first woman to be recognized as "Real. Strong. Woman" and featured on Alpha Chi Omega's new website www.alphachiomega.org .
As a voice over professional, Wendi specializes in corporate narration, e-learning , website navigation and motivational products. Her voice has been described as "bright, warm and without guile."
Wendi is currently attending the Gemological Institute of America to receive her Graduate Gemology degree and holds an AJP, is a Professional Diamond Grader and a certified Colored Stone Grader with GIA.
Giving back to her community through Mentoring, Wendi serves as a speaker/advocate and Mentor with Kinship of Greater Minneapolis and is a mentor for 2 students through ACES, Atheletes Committed to Educating Students.. An active member of their Speaker Board and an "Ambassador", Wendi has received the "Ambassador of the Month" Award for helping to recruit the highest number of mentors for the 150+ children waiting across Minnesota. Growing up in a single parent household, Wendi knows firsthand the importance a mentor can make in a child's self esteem and pursuit of one's dreams.
